When Jim entered the financial planning industry in 1990, it was beginning to transform, and he embraced the industry’s shift from product sales to client-focused problem-solving. Jim saw the value of objective advice and developing comprehensive plans to meet client goals, this has been a cornerstone of his career.

In 2017, Jim became the Managing Partner of Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as Private Vista). In this capacity, Jim focused more on strategic planning and business management to continue to grow and develop the business. Currently, Jim is a Managing Director and Office Lead for the Chicago and Oak Brook locations of Hightower Signature Wealth. He also sits on the Hightower Signature Wealth Senior Advisor Board consulting with senior management. to develop and grow Hightower Signature Wealth.

Jim received his bachelor’s degree in financial planning from Purdue University, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, a Certified Investment Management Analyst^®, and a Chartered Financial Consultant^®. Jim is also a member of Ruth Lake CC, Desert Mountain Club, and Alpha entrepreneur group. In his free time, Jim enjoys staying active through golfing, participating in triathlons, hiking, and skiing.
